“Me and my 3 dogs stayed and had an amazing time. The location is great for excursions into the park to hike or drive around as well as easy access into Bar Harbor. The only difference between the online listing and the cabin was the carpet appears to be recently replaced with laminate flooring that made it even easier to clean up after the dogs. If you want a spa like experience, keep looking, but if you are serious about getting into and out of the park to explore with a clean, safe and dog……

“This is a great cabin located in a nice private setting, with the ocean literally feet from the door. We enjoyed our stay. It was so relaxing and we got to see the full Hunter Moon rising right over the ocean. The cabin was clean and cozy, and the kitchen had everything you could need. We enjoyed day trips to Bar Harbor/Acadia, Schoodic Peninsula, Lubec and Campobello Island. I would rent this property again in a heartbeat. ”

“We had a lovely stay at this house. The beds were comfortable. We had small children, and the rooms were quiet. The downstairs has a lot of space and separate living rooms for people to have quiet time. We cooked many meals, and the kitchen worked well. Jane was a great communicator, making everything so easy. She even left us lovely snacks to get us started. Highly recommend”

“We stayed two nights here in these delightful cottages. The attention to detail is spectacular, from the decor to the coffee provided. We shared wine in the chairs outside looking over the bay one evening. It is a short drive to Acadia National Park. Try the barbeque at Mainely Meat; it is delightful and they have local craft beer. Enjoyed our stay so much!”

“The location is fantastic. It was an easy 1/2 mile walk to the center of town, making it really convenient to hop on the Island Explorer or go to dinner in town. It was a good amount of space, with a reasonably sized living room for the 4 of us and it was great to also have a full-size kitchen. There were apparent signs of wear and tear on the house that slightly detracted from the atmosphere. This included a tear in the wall in the kitchen and the need for a fresh coat of paint throughout……

“The cabin was very nice. It was off the road, so no road noise. It was esthetically nice as a well-built traditional carpentry pine cabin throughout. Well equipped kitchen. Nice screened in porch. Very clean. I would return if going back to Arcadia. It is a little ways to Bar Harbor and southern end of the island but well located to other hiking. We loved it. ”
