“We really enjoyed our stay at this vacation rental. The location was fantastic—peaceful, quiet, and with beautiful views and easy access to the Cove, which made for some great outdoor time. “We loved our stay in this beautiful, secluded oceanfront cottage! The home had everything we needed and the view was absolutely amazing! Stewart's Grocery & Takeout had great takeout pizza and groceries. We enjoyed lovely maple cortados at the Milkhouse Cafe south of Machias, and fantastic lobster bisque at the Public House. Eastport, Lubec, and Pembroke are all an easy drive away. We also enjoyed Lunch on the Wharf in Corea. An unforgetable stay in an unforgettable location.”

“I wasn't really sure what to do with a Vrbo reservation. This was our first one.I sent the owner messages through Vrbo the day we arrived in Bangor and he responded right away. There was no instructions on the trash situation. I wasn't sure if they recycled or not. I message him through the Vrbo app and he responded. “My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! Absolutely adorable place. Completely private location. The house itself was immaculately clean and newly renovated with a pretty interior with comfortable, sturdy furniture. The host was so nice and very responsive. “Property is ideal for a couple or small family. Located off Main Street in Bar Harbor, it was perfect for walks to restaurants, shops, the Shore Path or anything else in the downtown area and also minutes away from Acadia National Park. The place was really clean and had all the basics needed for the week. The owners, Lisa and Rick, made check in easy and were quick to respond to questions. As others have said, this house is a hidden gem in Bar Harbor. I would definitely book again if I ever go……
