“Small cabin good for a couple looking for a semi-rustic cabin. It would be tight for 4 people. Updated with a good size family room and a nice large deck on the back. Small kitchen with full size gas range and fridge.Bedroom floor is not level, definitely slopes down to one corner, but otherwise good.”

“My husband and I planned a short trip to take our kids skiing/snowboarding for the first time. We wanted a place close enough to the resort that was clean, cozy and priced reasonably. “Chose this cabin because I love the classic, cozy A-frame style, and I wanted to be in between groceries (Arnold) and skiing (Bear Valley).The large front window, wood-burning stove, cozy blankets, clean and modern bathroom, and upstairs bedroom were the highlights. The kitchen is tiny and has few outlets but it was fine in the end for what we needed, and served its purpose. I just wouldn’t plan on making any complicated meals here. ”

“This is a well thought out cabin in the mountains. It was stocked with all the amenities a family could need... good heating, excellent kitchen, comfy couches and beds. Everything was clean and there was plenty of storage in the rooms. The coffee/tea bar was super nice in the mornings and evenings! “Spent a few days at The Bear Lounge Cabin and it was a pleasure. Marina is a wonderful host and very responsive. The house feels very warm and cozy but spacious enough for 6 to 8 people. It is equipped with everything we needed to make our stay very enjoyable. We look forward to staying at the Bear Lounge again next season!”
