“Loved this place so much! Loved all the outdoor amenities they offered! Quiet resort while we were there. Amazing & friendly staff, loved the cottage with a fireplace and outdoor seating. Having gelato from the store was so good! lol! The pool area and hot tub was nice and loved the nightly smores! Definitely would stay again! ”

“Historic hotel in a great location for exploring the area. The staff was friendly and helpful. Even though the hotel is undergoing a renovation, everything was neat and tidy. Nice lobby with a warm fire going. Do it yourself continental breakfast had a good variety. ”

“It's a motel and the location is pretty good. Everything is in walking distance since it's a small town. Yet, the lodge is too old and it's on the main street. You can hear everything, even the snores next door.”

“Easy access just off CA-108 highway, just a few minutes away from Dodge Ridge ski resort. Free parking right outside the entrance. Inside the front entrance, the check-in area is not well marked. Turn left, go through the restaurant and a small registration window is found just past the bar. After check-in, the staff member led us out through the bar/restaurant downstairs through the key-access area to our spacious room. No fridge or microwave, and beds had older, somewhat noisy mattress……

“Conveniently located in downtown Sonora. Walking distance to almost about anywhere. Hotel offered a nice, simple warm breakfast. Rooms were nicely decorated. Bed was comfortable. Only downside of our room is that we were located right next to the smoking area. It wasn't horrible as not too much smoke came inside our room. ”
