“We had the best time staying here. We arrived at night and all the motion sensor lights up the stairs and on the front porch were so helpful and well thought out. Inside the cabin was so beautiful and cozy everything was comfortable, easy to use, labeled and well thought out for guest. We traveled to the near by snow park for inner tubing, while also visiting a few local restaurants and shops. Everybody we met along the way was so friendly, the drive and area was beautiful. “The location is beautiful. Just remote enough to feel like a getaway, but close enough to stores that you don't have to go far to get essentials. The home was nice, clean and comfortable.”

“We had a pretty large group of friends and small kids and this place was great! The kitchen was very well stocked, beds were very comfortable, and clean. The house is bigger than the pictures make it look. The kitchen is a little tight if you want to cook for a group, but we were prepared and lots of great eating options near by. Only heat source is the fireplace and space heaters, but they did the trick! Great fun and location!”

“The home was close to places we wanted to go. Lots of rain and no snow, but we were able to keep the grandkids amused with the nearby snow park and other attractions. The host was very responsive to our questions! ”

“Very comfortable stay. Had all we needed. Heads up: pack toilet paper and paper towels for your stay. 1 roll of each is provided in advance. The key lockbox isn’t the one next to the door. You have to open the screen door to find it. ”

“We had a wonderful visit with local family while staying at Happy Harte. The home is well equipped and thoughtfully decorated. The kids enjoyed the available toys and games which is a huge perk when traveling with littles. We enjoyed visiting the lake, a dinner at The Rock, and mini golf nearby. We made great memories here and hope to be back soon.”

“This home was better than the listing let on. 3 spacious bedrooms and an open concept kitchen/living area that made it easy for us to spend quality time together. Wrap around porch that was completely gated made it great for our dog. The house was stocked with all the necessities and then some. About 30 minutes to Dodge Ridge, which was great for our snowboarding adventure.Pool table in the garage, plus all kinds of outdoor gear for both winter and summer We'll definitely be back.”

“We had a great stay at the Deer Lodge over MLK weekend. There was no snow, but around a half hour drive to Leland for tubing. The lines there got long and my boys told me they’d rather be at the cabin in the hot tub, lol. My toddler loved the play kitchen in the garage and my older ones made use of the closet full of games. The kid/baby items (plates, silverware, high chair, pack and play) were super helpful! The host was quick to respond when I had a question. Thanks!”

“We stayed in January with another family. The cabin was very clean and well decorated. The game room was a hit for the kids and adults! The rooms were set up perfectly for 2 families. Lots of living space area. Well stocked kitchen and supplies. The kids enjoyed playing in the backyard. The owner was great at communicating, well organized and fast to answer when needed. Perfect central location, close to downtown, mini golf, and great park, only 15 mins from Long Barn ice skating and just 30……
