“Historic property and staff is super helpful”

“Beautiful grounds and environment, very idillic and scenic. We were able to catch a stunning sunset on the first night. However, the sunrise was blocked by a hill. The breakfast was decent with a good selection. The staff was friendly. We came in late March, so the grapevines were just stubs. Also, their Michelin restaurant was closed so we had to drive out to get dinner. Also none of the wine tours had started yet, and there were no free wine in the rooms (although you can purchase bottles)”

“Calm,safe,and parking easily. Kind of remote country, so driving arriving in daytime is easier than night. Helpful and hospitality host. Breakfast is good with cut fresh vegetables and fruits. “If Mario is cooking then you know you’re in for a treat. Everyone was amazing to interact with and more than welcoming throughout the stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, the pool was warm, the staff were amazing and the food was some of these we had on our trip. Mario made us a dinner from scratch and it was much more than expected. Very quiet and relaxing area that has beautiful scenery in every direction. Mario set the bar extremely high for what we expected in the rest of the trip. We……

“The area requires a car, but it is so peaceful and calm. The only downside is the bathroom in the room - it certainly wasn’t in keeping with the service and the rating of the rest of the property. The swimming pool and the food was exceptional.”

“first, I need to mention about the basic necessity - the hotel just simply arrange me a single bed, instead of putting two single bed to make it to be their "Delux twinbed" By the end, it is not comfortable, there is a big gap between the two bed, inspite there is a camoflage of heavy bed sheets on the top. My rating for this hotel is just Bed and Breakfast grade for Local Italian, there are only two owners and young guy who can speak average English, while they are doing everythings for……

“The lobby was very welcoming, breakfast was good as continental. The room was slightly disappointing with what the lobby suggested as a 4 star hotel. May be with a price of 80 Europe I get the most simple one. Hotel with air on all the time. Front desk was extremely helpful and let me late check out at 1pm. Location is unbeatable as the heart just a lane of 30 steps away. I will come back book a better room next time...thanks”
