“We had a fantastic experience! The location is perfect—just minutes from everything in Grafton, yet tucked away in a peaceful, quiet setting. We saw deer every day, which made the mornings, and evenings extra special. The owners were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend booking with them—you won’t be disappointed!”

“What a beautiful old home. We loved the location and being able to see the river from our bedroom and balcony. Check in was so easy and the hosts were so accommodating. Check in is typically 4 pm and we asked if we could get in a little earlier. We were told the house was open any time that day so we were able to drop our bags at 10 am. The house has everything you can possibly need. We will definitely stay again the next time we need a place in Alton!”

“The home was great. It’s located in a great walking neighborhood so we were able to take family walks. It was also very relaxing after going out and having a day of activities. We truly enjoyed our stay here!”

We were very pleased with the condition of the house. Easy stay! FYI: There were no Uber, Lyft, taxi, or trolley services available. ”

“From reservation, to check in to check out Mitch was very communicative! The house was clean and ready for us and was a short drive for our wedding festivities in Florissant. Alton is a great historic town on the river with some great places to eat, antique shop and walk along the Mississippi. The home has the prettiest original woodwork, and the right modern updates. We hope to come back again.”
