“We had a gorgeous view of the mountains. When I opened our window, I could hear the sounds of a small waterfall, and the chimes of the bells on the flock of sheep grazing at the foot of the mountain. It was idyllic.”

“This mountain house was positively delightful. While it was in a pretty remote location, the views were breathtaking. It's located in a quaint tiny village on the Cares trail -- definitely bring provisions with you as the kitchen is perfect for cooking meals (and the food is so good in this area it's hard to make a bad meal). After a long day of hiking, we cozied up next to the fire, and enjoyed the mountain night sky against the craggy peaks of Picos de Europa. Bedrooms were comfortable, and……

“This property was a monastery. It’s renovated. You can see the details of the building, the manager explained the history of the buildings. That staff are very nice and go beyond to help you in everything. They have great choice for eating, the patio is a wonderful place to have a cup of wine, read, chat or the like. I will recommend this place to my friend and anyone ”

Sehr nette Gastgeber, es wäre schön, wenn auch Englisch gesprochen würde. Die Holztüren in den Zimmern sind etwas laut, besonders nachts, wenn Gäste später in ihre Zimmer zurückgekommen. Für uns wären weichere Matratzen von Vorteil gewesen. Beim Frühstück hätte ich mir Vollkornprodukte gewünscht. Trotz einiger Kritikpunkte empfehlen wir die Unterkunft gerne weiter.”

“This is an excellent property in the Picos de Europa park. The best reason to book this hotel are the hot springs. You get one 40 minute session per night which is very relaxing after a day of hiking. These are natural hot springs flowing from the outside, with many different water massage areas, as well as a sauna, steam room, onsen, whirlpool and cold rinsing pool. They also have along outdoor pool if you want to swim. The second reason is the location. You are between Fuente De and Poncebos.……
