“Very nice and clean cabin with a beautiful view. It was perfect for our weekend get together. Has a nice loft for additional space which we didn’t use. It does have a road that is just below the property with some traffic in the mornings and evenings. All the amenities we needed. ”

“The Yellow Cottage is fabulous! Close to downtown, clean, cozy and well stocked. Great fenced backyard makes it a wonderful place to bring your pups. We have been staying here for years, and Cloudcroft has some quite good very casual dining these days. Ricardo, the host, is absolutely unsurpassed. ”

“The setting is spectacular—only a few feet to the creek from the deck! The cabin is cozy and comfortable with high-end bedding and kitchen supplies. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and chocolates. It doesn’t get much better than this if you’re looking for a mountain retreat AND we were able to bring our fur baby too!”

“Perfect cabin and treehouse! The most relaxing and adventurous place we have been! My husband did find buried treasure with the provided metal detector! 2010 silver dollar by the creek! We also dug up a square frying pan! Added it to the stack of metal and we found a quarter and a nickel! Possibly found a wee bit of gold specks while panning in the creek! Found both scavenger treasure! Those kept us busy! The mountains are absolutely stunning in that area! The place is amazing and the owners……

“My wife and I loved staying at this cabin. We had a great relaxing weekend and this place had all that we needed for the weekend. It’s close enough to town for some food and shopping but far enough away that you feel secluded from the world. Highly recommend this cabin for a getaway weekend!”

“We stayed one night, the location was perfect for our travel. There is interstate close by, ear plugs are provided. This is pet friendly and we slept comfortably. Would stay again in future. We did eat dinner in Idaho Springs which was just few miles away, didn't see as many food options in Dumont. ”
