“This little cottage was very quaint, perfect for a quick girl's getaway. Situated in close walking distance to Lighthouse Beach, small shops and places to eat. I much rather prefer little places like this, that have all the basics of a low key but enjoyable area. It was just what we needed to enjoy all Sanibel has to offer.”

“The property was as described in the online listing. The only two issues we had: We couldn’t figure out how to turn off the ceiling fan in the living room (it was always on at high speed)There was a sulfur odor in the neighborhood at times, which we found out from neighbors that is a thing in Sanibel. Nothing to do with the property itself.”

“My husband and I stayed mid-March for 7 days. The weather cooperated and it was sunny and mid-70’s all week! The Ibis cottage was perfect for the two of us and it was far enough away from the commerce area that it was peaceful and quiet. We never ran out of activities and excursions mixed in with beach days. It was very helpful to have the Tradewinds beach available as all the other beaches were challenging to find parking. If there was any downside to our stay it was the lack of laundry……

“Enjoyed our stay. Perfect sized cottage for the two of us. Wish the bathroom had a shelf for cosmetic bags and dop kits, but we managed. Liked the beach access and parking pass even though it was a long walk from the parking lot to the beach. Communication with the owners was very was good. No dishwasher, no laundry facilities, no hair dryer but towels and beach chairs (too low for us old folks) were provided. Umbrella would have been nice. Lots of the island things to do were within……

“We had a wonderful stay. The house and property exceeded expectations! Rebecca and Andy were super accomodating, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay as special as was possible. House was equipped with everything we could ever need. Beautiful, peaceful location. We will be back!”

“You can't beat the location and setting of John Anthony's beach cottage. Very close to both beach and bay, and located within a lovely, private community. House could use some upgrades and bit more maintenance. Yet make no mistake: this is a fantastic place and we had a lovely time. Thanks, John Anthony!”

“Just spent a wonderful week on beautiful North Captiva with our family. The house had everything we needed and the property managers were great.”

“Great property- we especially enjoyed the pool area and viewing the sunset from thereWell stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. In the area try Coffee & Friends for breakfast, Sassy tarts for baked goods, Placida Fish market for fresh seafood, Englewood farmers market for fresh produce And don’t forget to visit Gasparilla Island - the sun always seems to shine thereWe will be back!”

“The property was just as described. Everything was comfortable and decorated so nicely. Had everything we needed and then some. Was a quick walk to the beach. There is a place outside to rinse off all your sand, the owner was easy to get in touch with and very nice. Would highly recommend and I would definitely stay here again!! Currently there is still so much devastation from the relentless back to back hurricanes. Please be respectful for those that lost so much. ”
