“We booked AGM Beachfront Resort because it was the only place available during our travel dates. It’s more affordable than neighboring resorts, and the staff were genuinely warm and helpful—that was the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the property itself is in poor condition. “I almost loved the place except that it did not give me a refund for an extra day I booked by mistake. They also did not say it with kindness but with an attitude! This is the first time I was not refunded. Sad. Second, the room is a bit cramped for three beds. They also did not offer free breakfast and 220 peso breakfast is expensive for a very small serving. "The room was very good—clean, comfortable bedding, and spacious enough. A refrigerator would’ve been a nice touch, but it wasn’t essential. Shower pressure and temperature control were excellent. The hotel handled a 6:00 AM power outage impressively, switching to diesel backup within 5 minutes and later to solar. WiFi was fast enough for most needs. Staff were outstanding—friendly, helpful, and professional throughout. Excellent location near the best restaurants in Legazpi. The in-house restaurant was just okay, not a highlight. Would definitely stay again."
