“The property was more the great for our stay in Des Moines! The house is HUGE! very clean well maintained. Plenty of space for us all to spread out. We really appreciated having coffee there for us. Beds were comfortable and plenty of them too! The outside space was great as well. And there was ample parking off the street. We will definitely return for our next family get together in Des Moines. Thank you to the host for being a great communicator as well.”

“Absolutely amazing spot! The room was stocked with dishes and toiletries. The bed was incredibly comfortable. I was a huge fan of having live plants in the room. “We had another excellent week long visit to Pella in general and specifically at the Rock House Property. The historic Rock House offers a relaxing blend of old and new. The pleasant weather allowed us to take full advantage of the patio and fire pit areas. The location suited us perfectly. Minutes from downtown plus a bicycle path at our door step. “Cannot be more happy with our experience, Beautiful home and property located minutes from the airport. Very clean and spacious! Located close to restaurants and grocery stores. “Everything you could possibly need was there from poo pourri, q-tips and cotton balls in the bathroom to K-cups, filtered water pitcher in the kitchen to a fabulous 65in TV in the living room. Checkin was simple and quick as was checkout and the place was immaculate and comfortable.”

“There were a number of things I didn't like. First, there was no one available to assist or answer questions for the first 2 days there. Secondly, there was unexpected a lot of noise outside the unit a 5am. Third, they said no pets allowed, but we experienced animal fur in the unit. We have a crawling infant and there was a lot of fur on the bottom of his high chair discovered as we were loading our van to leave. The unit and building was very secure, but there was no information given……

“Our family loved this charming home for our first time visit to Pella for the Tulip Festival weekend. The location was perfect for walking to all the festivities. The decor was beautiful, clean, and modern, but not losing the authenticity of the historical look and feel of the home. We will definitely be back!”
