“Location was key since we were there with our boat. Ramp is located about 1/2 away from the cabin. Very clean and even offered some fishing at night under the lights. Screened in porch was great once the bugs started moving.”

“Good location for fishing tripHome has generator backups which is great as area had electricity go out. All systems work with generators going. Lawrence prvided quick response to needs.”

“Overall, house was clean & beds were comfortable. Bathroom was stock with basic necessities like toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash & hand soap. Dining room chairs need updating though. The faux leather on the seat was coming apart or missing completely.Kitchen had paper towel, sponge, dishwashing soap & extra garbage bag.The microwave took some effort to work and the wifi was super slow. Listing advertised as fast wifi but my kids couldn't even stream movies on their ipads. We had……

“My daughter was receiving an award and needed space since we were traveling in from Dallas with family. The house is lovely, checkin and communication was good. Plenty of space, perfect for what we needed. Two things to note. Sofa in living room needs to be replaced, back has no support. There is no privacy door for the forth bedroom, open. Lawn could have been mowed for better drive up appeal. Neighborhood was nice, quiet safe .I would rent sgain...but needs”

“This place was great, it was super comfortable the property owner was available always, I woukd definitely stay there next time im in town.”

“Several friends traveled for a local event and shared this house. It was very comfortable and well appointed. It is clear that the home was renovated and decorated carefully. The host, Danina, provided many extras such as two robes in each bedroom, toiletries in case someone forgot something, cookies and bottled water. The kitchen is very well equipped and has brand new appliances. We highly recommend this property if you are visiting the East Texas/WestLouisiana area.”

“Everything was good just only one bathroom was the problem”

“Property is in a great location for both adults and children. Aside from some AC issues we truly enjoyed our stay as always. Will be booking again, hopefully.”

“This was hands down the most affordable and relaxing get away . We are a fishing family and they had plenty of fish for us to catch. Ms flood had everything you need to be comfortable . Plenty of space. The plus was the TVs she had in each room to really make it home away from home and private if it more guest in the house. The extra fishing poles came in handy as well . thank you Ms flood. Everything was perfect !!”

“We had a great stay at Captain's Cabin. We were looking for a place on Sabine Lake that had great access to our favorite fishing spots and Captain's Cabin suited our needs perfectly. The house and yard were very clean and well appointed. There was ample room for parking and the area is safe and extremely quiet. David, the property owner ,was extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend Captain's Cabin to anyone. ”

“We couldn’t get in the first night. The door lock was jammed. It was late, dark, and neighborhood does not look safe. We had to go to a hotel. We ended up staying at the hotel for safety reasons. ”

“Everything promised in the listing was accurate. The place was clean, location was nice, pool and outdoor kitchen was just as pictured and the owners were very accommodating. I had a work assignment for 2 months in the area and it was perfect for me. I'd definitely try to book it again if I was in the area.”
