“We loved it so much we decided to stay a second night. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Great hospitality and it is a family owned and run guesthouse. The grandmothers made an amazing breakfast that consists of tea, coffee, fried eggs, delicious bread, cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, cheese, butter, and fig jam. Location was good, a lovely walk to the castle. I could see myself spending a week here. ”

“Beautiful hotel, newly built last year. Beautifully decorated in Albanian style and lots of Albanian pictures/artefacts etc on show. Room was very comfortable and a good size, shower was lovely. Breakfast was great, was made when we arrived in morning and brought out to us fresh. This included some hot Albanian foods, fruit, juice, coffee, cake. Lovely! Staff very friendly and helpful and the manager gave us a lift up to the town at night. Location great, just about 10 minute walk to bus……

The restaurant downstairs had excellent food and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Furra if you're visiting Gjirokaster! The street can get loud at night but if you're there to vacation and enjoy festivities, you'll be in the crowd anyway. ”
