“We loved this little bungalow. We were looking for a peaceful place to relax and celebrate our anniversary. Kim was kind and very generous to offer many extras. We had everything we needed and more. Short trip to the beach or the sound. We would definitely visit here again. ”

“Captain's Quarters was a great little place for two to stay. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach as well as the short distance to many other things, I.e. grocery, restaurants, Hwy 158. It's located almost halfway between the Corolla lighthouse and Hatteras lighthouse as well as being very close to Jockey's Ridge and Wright Bros. Memorial.The owners supplied many amenities like shampoo, body wash and creme rinse. Very thoughtful of them.We loved the covered deck!We'd love to go back!”

“All was as expected. Only small surprise: a couple of the electrical outlets had apparently been closed off in the bathroom, which may have been for safety reasons. Bed was comfortable, HVAC worked, and we had a good time!”

“The place was fabulous and looked as advertised. It was no short of a romantic scene for two. Setup with all of the necessities that we needed to enjoy our stay. Located only two blocks from the beach with a restaurant directly behind us. The screened in porch provided a great area to relax and enjoy a cocktail or a beverage of choice. Plenty of entertainment, food, and things to do in the immediate surroundings. If you’re looking for a place to go and enjoy the beach and relax. Then the OBX is……

“The place was spacious, cozy and clean. It was located very close to the beaches and walking distance to sound. The owners were prompt in their communication and very nice. The place has everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. The best part is they thought of everything, from towels, beach chairs, bikes, and well place outlets to charge up electronics! The internet was strong too! We will definitely stay again if we return to the OBX.”
