However an unexpected hospital stay meant that after trying to reschedule, and this not being an option, it was decided to give our 2 night stay a go. The Hotel and surroundings were as good as anticipated, the 3 course evening meal and service faultless however the bed was to hard/uncomfortable so the stay was cut short.”

“We had a very enjoyable short stay at The Canford. All the staff were exceptionally helpful, courteous, and friendly (Terry, Ross, Ellie, Lena, Taly). Our room was an Accessible room (although we didn't specifically book one) and was quite large and very comfortable, with a large, well-appointed bathroom. Being accessible it was on the ground floor and very convenient to the car park. The room was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed two evening meals at the hotel, as well as breakfast both mornings,……

“Lovely hotel conveniently situated a 5 min walk from beach. Lovely en suite room with all necessary facilities. Good bar food with well kept real ale. My only criticism is that on arrival I found out breakfast is only served 9-9.30 - no good on a business trip when you need to be away at 8am. Had I known this I would not have booked. Staff were apologetic and offered a discount on my evening meal in lieu. Thank you.”
