“This is a perfect place for a multigenerational family stay! I booked this for my son’s graduation from Penn State and stayed with my father and 23 year old son. This is a great option when all the hotels in State College are booked up and Penn State is a lovely 45 minute drive away. My father stayed on the first floor next to the bathroom and we were very comfortable in the bedrooms upstairs. The house is very clean and full of charming touches that appealed to everyone. “I planned on spending my birthday in happy valley and searched all over for a place, then I found Lakewood cottage. I talked it over with the other couple that came with and it was an easy yes for the 4 of us. The place wasn’t far from the stadium and easy to get to. It was clean and tidy and overall an amazing stay for the weekend. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Excellent place to relax! Everything was lovely, perfect and simple! Only thing i'd suggest is putting a mirror up in the small A frame cottages and the ability to control the oscillating fan. Definitely will be back!! ”

“Great property, great stay at a very nice cottage. We visited for the weekend for Penn State’s homecoming. Close to the stadium, easy access to I-99 and plenty of food options w/in 3 miles. Two bedrooms w/king size beds and a couch w/a trundle. Very comfortable w/TV, patio, firepit, and charcoal grill. The worse part of the weekend was the non-stop rain on game day.”
