“This is a modest Guest House in Durres, which is a small beach town one hour west of Tirana and the airport TIA. The owners are a retired couple who live downstairs the property. There is a language problem for the couple but their daughter comes to the rescue. They are all very friendly and helpful. Of course, there is no daily housecleaning service as in a hotel but they ask you if you need anything. The area is safe with a few restaurants and mainly luxury hotels. The beach is only……

“A five-star experience from beginning to end. Gorgeous property. Great location. Comfortable bed. Easily walkable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Admir at breakfast was an absolute gem! It was a joy to watch the way he interacted with each guest, making everyone feel special.”

“Then we arrived at the hotel, the two girls in the reception told us, that we had cancelled the reservation, which we didnt. It was a mistake between them and Expedia. But they didnt care at all, and if we didnt insist they were wrong, we had to pay yet one more time. Afterwards the hotel did not match the description and four star spa expectation. The spa was closed. We had several issues and broken things in our room, that we told the reception, but they didnt care at all, and none of it was……

“Hotel is on main road so can be noisy. Hosts were lovely and very helpful. Rooms were a good size, very clean. Plenty of food at breakfast. Close to beach.”

“Nice hotel. But weird in that at reception it said check in at the hotel across the road and for breakfast. I had a room on the 1st floor, but on the 2nd floor it seemed the people who looked after the hotel stayed. I don't know if the 2nd floor was open plan, but all you could hear was the baby, mother & grandmother all the time. It was silent at night though. Room and facilities including the bed were superb. Just the carers of the place made a racket.”

“Hotellet er svært sentralt og nær både strand og sentrum. Rommet blev ikke gjort rent i løpet vår 2 døgn opphold. Enkel men ok frokodt. Middags bufe til kun 8€ var veldig bra og rask. Måtte kun betale med cash. Fikk gratis parkering til bilen. Kan anbefales til denne prisen.”

“Mainostettiin apartomentoksena, mutta oli vuokra-asunto. Oli pyykinpesukone, ei paikkaa missä kuivata. Oli silitysrauta, ei silityslautaa yms. Vain kaksi isoa pyyhettä. Olisi itse tarvinnut pestä. Sijainti hyvä ja asunto melkein remontin jäljiltä siis siisti.”

“Amazing location. Incredible experience. Super clean and comfortable Downsides. Advertised with a pool. It is full as they sell an entrance ticket to anyone. Breakfast is limited and not tasty. Staff could not tell us how to call a taxi, they told us to walk to the bus station!!!”
