“Had a great stay at this property in Decorah. Great location and close to everything we wanted to do. Lots of space in the house and very comfy beds and pillows. Would stay here again next time we’re in the area!”

“The cottage was better than the pictures. The location is very central to the local activities. There’s multiple good restaurants within walking distance. It was my husband, teenage son, and two medium/small dogs. There was plenty of space inside and outside for us all to hang out. The hot tub was amazing after hiking and exploring. The place had great amenities. We will be staying again, maybe in summer for the pool. Totally recommend.”

“Great location for hiking and seeing the effigy mounds. Plenty of little towns nearby to have a meal if you so choose. The cabin is beautiful inside with all the amenities needed for a very cozy stay. Wonderful place for a quiet getaway! ”

“We came to town to watch Luther softball. We had a great two nights and have enjoyed the Nest on previous trips as well. We enjoy having the ability to use a kitchen, the sitting area is large enough to watch a movie with friends and the rental is always clean. We had to cancel this room this fall for Homecoming and the owner was able to move the reservation to this weekend. We found that very accommodating for us and really appreciated it.”

“The cabin and location are great. Everything was as described. I wasn’t impressed with the cleanliness. There were stains on the floor from spills and marks/crumbs on end tables from previous guests having drinks/food. It’s nice that pets are allowed but with that comes additional cleaning that was missed. Pet hair on furniture and a spot by one of the doors that appeared to be from a pet having an accident. Hopefully those can be areas of improvement. I’d overall recommend this place and I’d……

“Without a doubt, this was the most thoughtfully outfitted property we have experienced. The hosts have thought of everything a guest and visitor to the area could need. So well organized we didn't need to reach out to the hosts for anything. Comfortable apartment. We are sensitive to room deodorizers, so like a lot of properties and hotels, we noticed the same here. Overall a great spot and impressive hosts.”

“We recently had a weekend getaway to this location. The property manager was very precise with our expectations and everything was as Advertised. The rustic feel was amazing. We spent much of our time in the hot tub, as it was winter with snow on the ground. We were just about 30 minutes away from Priarie Du Chein and Harper's Ferry and went to the winery. “What a delight to have trains lumbering past on one side of the house, and the river traffic, big barges and their pushers going past on the other side of the house. A beautiful setting, comfortably appointed house, great home base for exploring the beautiful river road and bluffs.”

Within 15-20 minutes to small, quaint towns including grocery, restaurants and small town shopping. Communication with host was convenient and very responsive.
