“This was an unexpected trip due to a death in the family. Considering we didn't plan to travel to NYC, we were happily surprised this house was equipped with everything we needed, from new kitchen appliances like air fryer, rice cooker, and crockpot to hair dryer, garment steamer, plenty of towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc. The beds, sheets and pillows were hotel quality. “Great stay to be so close to the lake. Provided plenty of lake accessories so you would need to pack minimal equipment. The pictures are a little deceiving as you are on top of a steep hill with Route 39 (which is busy) between the house and dock. We brought our dogs who are well behaved and stay pretty close. I would be concerned if my dog did not have good recall or young children. However, being situated on top of the hill provides a nice view! ”

“This place was very spacious and clean with a full kitchen and two bathrooms. There was a lovely outdoor seating area in the back of the house and there was a washer and dryer available. The host was very accommodating and highly responsive. The inside was very tactfully decorated with seven beds for a larger party. However, parking was limited with only on street parking available. The location was perfect for us because it was within walking distance to the concert venue we were attending.……

“We booked the property because our family is growing too large for all of the children and grandchildren to spend the holidays together. The “holiday house” as our 4 year old coined it was the perfect place to spend Christmas and Hanukkah. Large yet cozy and very well appointed. All of our communication with proprietors was prompt and helpful, and they had the driveway salted and plowed within hours of the (very picturesque) snowfall the day before Christmas. “The stay was beautiful. We arrived at the house and searched entire place to decide who would sleep where. We didn't get our the address until the day before we arrived. When I stay at a hotel, I get my room number right away. After the first day, I notified the host of the kitchen window, it was still broken the day we left. Notified the host about the stove and it was still dirty. Other than those things it was a pleasant place to stay. I would tell my friends about it. ”

"As an experienced traveler, I have to rate this La Quinta a ONE out of Five. The facility is too old to use. To open the door, you need to insert the card key dozens of times. The hall way is not flat, slightly uphill or downhill. The drain of the tub is only half-working. When you take shower your feet are in the water. Basin is cracked and glued. AC sound wakes you up every time when it starts. Breakfast is ok, but lack of food after 8:50, it says that the time of breakfast is 6:30 to 9:30. Parking is free and safe, which is only thing make my thumb up. Overall, with $140 per night price, I must say, I was very disappointed by this hotel!!! By the way, the other La Quinta hotels I have lived in are very good."
