“My husband and I stayed at Uma Casa à Beira Sol for our 10-year anniversary, and it was absolutely perfect. The property is stunning, beautifully maintained, and full of charm. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome right from the start. Its location couldn’t be better — just a short walk to some of the most beautiful beaches, within walking distance to Old Town Lagos, and close to great restaurants and grocery stores. We always felt very safe exploring the area,……

“The view was magical and the pool was great. This made up for a couple of disappointments. The property is in need of a good refurbishment and the amenities are somewhat old. We felt that cleanliness was an issue too.”

“Everything is perfect. The reception welcome us and show the hotel amenities around and the the gentleman is so nice while I was checking out The breakfast time is a bit crowds because of the Oceanside tables but we sit there two days (staff there will try to arrange those tables for you) and the food is nice with many choices. Just one note when I leave a message through th QR code so they can deliver extra needs to the room, they did in the first time and miss the second message. 4.5 stars……

“I enjoyed my stay at this hotel Alvor. The rooms were decent and a fair size. The hotel staff were accommodating and the spa was very relaxing. The restaurant on the property but I only ate breakfast there because it was included with my stay. The breakfast buffet was decent and the concentrated on healthier options. Only thing is you have to ask for more food where getting the food options from the kitchen. If you choose to stay here, it is a good idea to have a car. It is a bit of a walk……

“We had a fantastic family holiday here in September 2025. Great location on the edge of Praia da Rocha and a short walk from Praia do Vau. We love the family friendly atmosphere and accommodating nature of Portugal which made our trip with a 9 month old easier than we expected. The hotel is well styled and gives a sense of luxury the moment you step inside. Our room was perfect with plenty of space for a cot bed and playtime.
