“I know a lot of the reviews have been negative but this lodge is just a simple, comfortable motel. The rooms haven’t been renovated so they’re a little run down but almost everything was spotless and the linens were clean. I’d say just some of the corners were a bit dusty and there were some hard water stains in the sink. The mattresses are a little saggy but were still decently comfortable. We stayed for a night to catch an early kayak tour out of Seward and it was a good deal. Most other……

“Gorgeous view, incredible breakfast and very accommodating. Allowed us to store our bikes in their garage due to rain. It’s a popular spot cause of how awesome it is so it was fully booked when we stayed. Everyone was nice and courteous however the walls and doors aren’t well insulted so you could hear murmuring through the rooms and all the plumbing. Not the end of the world by any means, and it didn’t deter us from continuing our multi night stay! The hosts more than make up for the thin……

“We stayed the beginning of Sept. The cabin we rented was " Premium Cabin, 2 Queen Beds, Kitchen, Mountainside". It was recently renovated, cozy and clean. The cabin has a mini frig, Keurig maker & variety of coffees, hot cocoa, etc. Good quality pans for cooking. The cabin had a charcoal grill and a fire pit.
