“Have an amazing time unwinding!!”

“ Overall good stay, we cooked our Thanksgiving dinner at the location. We had sufficient items and utensils to work with. Small problems are front door exterior light on porch not working. Also shower water does not get hot enough. Water from facet will scald but the showers are not adjusted to provide adequate hotwater. The neighborhood is less than desirable but tolerable for those that live in an ethnicly diverse environment. I was ok with this because I live in an ethnicly diverse……

“The home was very comfortable for 5 of us with room to spare. Located in a friendly small town. Many extras included. There are many activities for kids. Our grandchildren had a great time, they would have liked to just stay at the property!. The ferry to Jamestown is very convenient and there is much to see on that side. We also visited the town of Smithfield which is only 20 minutes away. We were looking for a nice slow and relaxing pace and found it. ”

“The River House at Claremont was one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. I am a huge Gone With the Wind fan and this property brought you back to the South prior to the Civil War all we needed were ball gowns to make it really authentic. The house was well appointed with the necessaries (toilet paper, tissues, and toiltetries). In addition the kitchen pantry had salt, pepper, flour and other staples. The interior of the house is amazing with much of the furniture handmade by the owner……

“We were in town for a sporting event and it was perfect for our family of 4 which was more affordable than a hotel with more space for one night. The unit has a lot of charm and we found a great roastery for coffee along with brunch nearby. ”

“Nice apartment within a larger old building. Perfect for our evening out. We did dinner at Rappahannock (2 blocks away) and a show at The National (5 or 6 blocks). And best part was the walk up pizza place across the street. We got a couple slices at 12:30 am on the way back home. No issues with this place. ”

“Had everythint we could have needed. Was well-maintained and they made the process easy. Even included a bottle of wine, but we don't drink so we left it for the next visitors; though, the gesture was wonderful!”

“As the title says, this place looked like the photos and was in a cute neighborhood that was pretty quiet. Good communication, no complaints!”

“My biggest complaints would be that there were dirty dishes in the cupboards so I ended up washing most of them before using them. There were several lights out or not working in the apartment. The kitchen is very small which is okay but not well pictured in the listing. No extra toilet paper just the single half roll you get when arriving. The ‘free’ parking is at max two spaces in front of the building. Which were always full. The parking lot next to it is very dirty, broken glass and full of……
