“Was pretty clean and cozy. There were some cobwebs and lots of dust we could see on the ceiling beams and on some of the furniture like the side of bed tables. WiFi was fine on our phones. Tv worked way better when we hotspotted to a phone. Otherwise it was great ”

“This house is perfect for 2 families of 4 each. The bedrooms for the parents are both downstairs, while the kids are upstairs - which was great. We loved how close the house is to the ski mountain, the ski bus to/from as well as the really hot and clean hot tub outside in the snow. The house could have given us more towels for the hot tub, however. So bring your own if you want clean towels! House was clean except for some spider webs up in the rafters. Knives in the kitchen were super……

“The Sunset Getaway gets everything right! The cabin is very cozy and the furniture and beds are so comfortable. The communication was excellent and check-in was a breeze. We walked in to a lovely fire going in the fireplace and everything was immaculate. The kitchen is well stocked. We loved the television set up...just hook up your computer and you are good to go. This is perhaps the best run property that I have ever stayed. We loved our time here. ”

“We had a wonderful visit here. The location is perfect. A short 10 minute walk to a dog friendly coffee shop with a beautiful view & a dog friendly beach. The cabin was very clean, comfortable beds, and had everything we needed for our stay. I notified the management company of a couple minor maintenance things I noticed and they were very responsive and helpful. I definitely plan to stay here again in the future. ”

“Great location on West Lake Boulevard with unobstructed views of Lake Tahoe. Bike/Pedestrian path accessed across street. Close to Tahoe City and evertyhing else on the West Side, including pristine and spectacular Emerald Bay and endless miles of hiking. House is well equipped, and has a private pier, paddleboards, bikes for guest use. Easy must do’s include cold plunging off the end of the private pier, scrambling up Eagle Rock a short walk away, and chilling on the large deck with full-on……

“This was a wonderful place to gather and enjoy time together at Tahoe! There was plenty of space for everyone to stretch out and have their own private rooms. Birgitta was very responsive and helpful all the way through! We hope to stay here again in the future.”

“The bedding was very thin and not complete sets for either bed. The room smelled like a backed up drain and musty. The shower is unsafe as it has no light inside, it’s very dark behind shower curtain and the water turns scorching hot on its own. The room is also lacking plug outlets, only one under tv opposite side of the room from nightstand and definitely no usb plugs either. Property lacking any landscaping, just dirt.Very disappointing.”

“What a beautiful home and about 15 minutes to both Alpine and Palisades, as well as about 1.25 hours to Sierra ski mountains. We loved the walkability to downtown and dog park nearby.”
