“We had an great stay at this beautiful cottage near Corcovado National Park! The location is stunning, and the adventure begins with the 4x4 road—it’s part of the experience and well worth it. The house is clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience.Joel was a fantastic host, even going out of his way to pick up a few items for us from Puerto Jiménez—so appreciated! After a day of exploring, the pool was perfect for a refreshing dip, and the Green Egg BBQ made……

“It was very zen and comfortable there were plenty of hammocks that were nice there are nice places around and the host was very connective and was very welcoming the place is hourly cleaned and there was a nice grass based badminton court where you could play whenever. The kitchen is very easily accessible, with countless amenities, and multiple seating areas. The entire place is spotless at all times, and is the perfect place to relax. The pool is an amazing bonus, and has room for hours of fun……

“This house has everything you need and host keeps it very clean. I was so impressed of how close to the beach it is and so sound it by nature; the sound of waves from the ocean was definitely a plus. When we first arrived the first thing we saw was two happy and cute monkeys on the very top of the matapalo tree. It made us take some time to start admiring the beauty of that place. I didn’t have any issues. John and Oscar were always very reachable for questions or advice. I would definitely go……

“I loved the serenity. Villa Bonita is private, clean, and has everything you need for a stay on the Osa Peninsula. I was there specifically for birding, and a short drive trook my guide and me to the best hotspots for finding endemic very special Costa Rica species. Great beaches and chocolate tours nearby too. The host commmunicated well by WhatsApp and the neighbors made themselves available for any kind of help. The bed was very comfortable. Thew kitchen has everything I could have needed.……

“Generally positive experience. The house was not as isolated as we anticipated. In fact there was a fair amount of traffic on the rough road behind. Lots of bird life - especially macaws. And lots of monkeys. The beach is not really a swimming beach because of the rocky bottom, but Matapalo beach is only about a 25 minute walk away. We stayed three nights, which was enough. The house has the basics. I’m surprised they don’t provide some basic cooking ingredients, such as cooking oil and……
