“I feel like they have stayed at hotels and included what they would have liked at their hotel- a bigger size mini fridge, a fan, paper towels; things you wouldn't have normally at a hotel but wish you did have. Only thing they were missing were tissues. And maybe a mini keureg instead of coffee pot”

“Breakfast was extremely limited to cereal, luke warm coffee, small amount of luke warm milk in a thermos for cereal and coffee, no decaf coffee and no hot water for tea. You could also choose from four white pieces of bread and four frozen waffles that were lying out on a clear plastic small shelf. The dispenser labeled orange juice had a small amount of some odd shade of red colored substance. This breakfast is misleading as it was at best a sparse continental breakfast, but the advertised……

“Staff was very friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean and spacious. Ample parking, pool area was nice and clean, free laundry room service, continental breakfast was good, fitness room was clean. Stayed one night in a 2 queen bedroom suite with 3 adults, we all were very comfortable in the room which had a lovely kitchenette area with a large refrigerator, sink and dish washer. We enjoyed the complimentary coffee/tea/hot chocolate station in the lobby that also had complimentary cookies or……

“The Gillhouse recently was remodeled. The rooms have new carpet, bathroom tile, vanity, paint or wallpaper. The rooms had new HVAC systems, TVs, ceiling fans and new windows with the privacy shade built in. They room style is modern. The property is right on Henderson Bay with beautiful view of the bay from the back porches and restaurant. Since we stayed late or off season the Gillhouse was quiet.
