“The host was very personable and took care to provide information of things to do around the surrounding area. However, the road to get to the hotel from Arenal was treacherous as it was mostly uphill, lots of curves and unpaved making it difficult to navigate.”

“My husband and I recently stayed at Fincas Aquarius for two nights while exploring Monteverde, as we wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle. The location is a little difficult to get to without a good car, but it’s absolutely worth the effort. Fincas Aquarius is nestled in a beautiful valley, with wide-sweeping views all the way down to the ocean. It’s honestly breathtakingly beautiful. “Beautiful little resort just outside of the hustle and bustle of Monteverde. Owner met us to show us around the property and let us check in early. One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful property and room. Excellent food from the on site restaurant. Excellent staff. Spotless room. If we ever come back to Monteverde I wouldn’t look to stay anywhere else .10/10 all day long”

“The property manager, Lady, was so helpful. She helped arrange tours for us and gave us information about what to do. Finding the place was a little difficult, as Waze didnt map it out correctly (initially I used Mountain Faro Hotel as it was named in expedia) so i had to stop and google address and remap with a different name. I used Mountain Faro B&B and waze mapped icorrectly then. Also office was closed when we arrived at 7pm. I had to find contact info on expedia to reach owner. She……

“What we expected. Nothing fancy but worked for the one night we stayed there. So a really cheap option if you need a stay for 1 or 2 nights. The host didn’t speak English but we managed with the little Spanish I spoke. Breakfast was great. Best pancakes on our trip.”

Le petit déjeuner à la carte était très bon. Proche de la ville, mais assez éloigné pour la tranquillité. Les chambres sont confortables. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour. ”
