“We wanted to get away for a couple days to see fall colors and hike near Starved Rock. This little house in the small town of DePue IL perfectly met our expectations. We had a great time looking at all the interesting decorations. While in DePue be sure to get a pork tenderloin at Casford’s Crossing!”

“Check in was easy&very welcoming, including pet treats, toys&poop bags.I loved that they included dog towels for wet dogs&muddy paws.This was a brief stay on our way back home from a long road trip.With a bit more attention to detail this property could be even better.Couch&chairs could use a deep steam cleaning.They held a little dander odor&kitchen seats had stains. “before arriving contacted property manager, asked about kitchen, was told i would have everything i would need to prepare a meal. Found no bakeware, or microwave ware, no measuring cups or spoons, only 4 forks and knives, 4 bowls, no strainer, no hand soap, garbage bags. Pots and pans that were there were dirty, all needed to be cleaned. The entire place was dirty, needs a deep cleaning. Sheets and comforters looked dirty, stained required washing. pillows flat and stained, no top sheets on the……

“The property was as listed. Excellent cleanliness. We stayed with our dogs and there were bowls, treats and toys left for them. Property is on a busy street but noise was not a concern inside the home. Would gladly stay there again if we are in the area. ”

Jim's property and space is absolutely amazing, huge deck area by the pond with feeding the fish was awesome including ample space in the garage to play washers & games when it got too cold out.
