“We found this place a few years ago and loved it. When we realized it was open for a last minute Mother’s Day weekend trip we jumped on it. What a great place. Unique, interesting, with plenty of room for everyone. We’ll be happy to stay again in the future. ”

The house was roomy and had everything we needed to cook and relax and spend time together. Elaine was the perfect host. The property was spotlessly clean. All the little details were appreciated. ”

“We really enjoyed staying at this property. The house was clean and well stocked, there were even amenities for our pups like bowls, pick up bags, treats and toys! It's so hard to find a property that takes larger dogs, but this was not a problem here. The fenced yard was perfect for late night let outs and running around. The location is perfect for accessing Starved Rock and Mathiessen state parks with a very useful write up of different hikes at Starved Rock provided in our welcome materials.……
