“The area was good as it was close to town and right by the creek that my son liked skipping rocks and fishing. However, the inside was outdated and had a musty smell. The comforters smelt musty and we needed to wash them. Bathroom sink was slow to drain. We found a few live spider and my wife/son hate spiders. One of the smoke alarms had low battery and started chirping, luckily it started on the morning and not at night when we were sleeping. The heater in the living room didn’t turn on……

“This cottage is in a convenient location to Cataloochee and Waynesville and only 35 minutes to Asheville. The cottage is cozy and the large porch inviting with the hot tub and rocking chairs! It's also well stocked with anything you may need in the kitchen during your stay. The owners are very responsive and check-in and check-out are a breeze. We're definitely staying here again when we visit next ski season! Thanks for a great stay! ”

“It was out in the wood enough to feel secluded but a few minutes away from downtown Bryson. We loved each and every second of our stay at the cabin! Was the perfect get away for my daughter (13) and I to escape. ”

“This is a place that feels like a home away from home - with some very cool perks. The waterfall and creek on the property sets the ambiance with both the sounds & views. The hot tub was wonderful for both cool mornings and evenings. Each bedroom has its own heater, window unit AC, ceiling fan, & tv. Windows open to the waterfall which is great. We stayed in October so we were using heat at night and no AC. The heat in the house is different in each room. We read the reviews about the mix of gas……

“Once we saw that Waynesville was open to visitors We booked last minute to come up for apples and to enjoy the Apple Festival. This property was perfect! One block off Main Street and walking distance to the festival and downtown Waynesville with lots of neat stores and restaurants. Very clean, bed was really nice--much more comfortable than most rentals. We didn't use the twin in the 2nd room but I assume it was just as nice. WIFI and cable TV were excellent--included local channels and ESPN!……

“The little cabin was adorable, sort of shabby chic. The road from the paved road to the cabin was rough, but we made it. One thing puzzled us, though: The lovely windows that showed a gorgeous view were clouded with something that looked like soap suds, so our view was only partial. Odd! Other than that, we enjoyed our time high above the heat, plus we got to watch the full moon travel across the sky one night.”

“The one thing I would like to suggest is since you allow animals, you should probably get leather furniture so that animals hair is not embedded in the furniture. It’s much easier to sanitize.”
