“House had everything we needed and the covered porches were awesome. We did bring 2 baby gates to keep the dogs on the porches because they would wander off on us if given the chance. Peace of mind knowing they couldn't get off since the porches went around 3 sides of the house. House is very dog friendly with leather couches. Loved the 2 screen doors for the cool mornings. Hot tub was great. Our adult son and daughter-in-law loved having their privacy in the basement space.”

“We went with a large group of 24 for the stay over the Memorial Day weekend. The property is huge and clean and quickly accomodated everyone. “Just wanted to take a second and leave a review for anyone thinking of staying here. Family had a wonderful time here over the Christmas holiday. Great communication with the owners check-in process was super simple. The house was decorated for Christmas wonderfully. I don’t normally leave reviews, But I do read them and those with basic facts I find most Useful. The house is not brand new so is there the occasional this or that that’s not perfect or working exactly as it should of course but in……

“This is one of the cleanest, well furnished cabins that we have ever rented. We rent a cabin ever year and this one pleased everyone in our group. Plenty of sitting areas, games, TV's, comfortable beds and wonderful windows with great views. The only complaint I had was a smell when you first walk into the cabin. It smelled like cat urine but could have been from the rug on the floor in that room.”

“Cute and clean little cabin feel. We loved having the comforts of a place to land after a day of adventures. We appreciated the mini kitchenette for having some meals in and the outdoor amenities were amazing. We cooked some wonderful food on the Blackstone grill, and enjoyed the fire pit on the evening it wasn't raining. Lots of great conversations and company. The owner is very hospitable and there are lots of nice thoughtful touches through out. Don't miss out on this one. We hope to stay……

“My family and I came to the area for a weekend getaway to take our son to ride the Polar Express in Bryson City and stayed at the Lodge for 2 nights… and I could say the stay was definitely not long enough! It was a beautiful and quaint little lodge that was tucked away in the wilderness!! I had a mix up on my days and was able to call the owner directly to correct my mistake and he was so helpful and took care of it right away even though I booked through VRBO. Met him the 2nd night we were……
