“Very nice resort. Our room was very clean although I will mention that there was kind of a musty smell so we felt the need to open the windows quite a bit to get fresh air. There are screens on the windows so that was not an issue. Breakfast was really nice so was the pool and hot tub. If anyone from management reads this review, it would be good to get a new clock in the indoor pool area it's not working... “This property is a treasure. We stumbled upon it as we were coming out of Maine late at night. It is a historic property with an antique elevator and metal keys for each room. The grounds are beautiful and the workers were hard at work to keep it up. There were signs of wear, but we were still impressed and expressed the desire to bring my mother-in-law who would definitely enjoy the historic aspect. The area around this property in NH is gorgeous. We will be back. I will say my 18 year old son……

“This has been our favorite hotel of the Sunday River area. We went in August and they had the pool at probably 94F, easy to walk in and relax for a while. Each night they had a nice diy drink setup with instructions. Each night the outdoor fire place was going - one night was marshmallows to roast.. the other night full on smores. Internet was fast. The room clean and quiet. Beds were spring mattresses which were hard to get used to from home. Front desk guy was very friendly and……
