“The house was cute and very well stocked with everything we needed. The hot tub was great after hiking and the game room in the basement was a nice way to spend the evenings. The house was an easy 10 min drive to the town of Harpers Ferry and the hiking trails. The owners were quick to respond to any texts. Will definitely recommend. ”

“We were able to check in early for a small fee. The location was nestled in a quiet, wooded, mountaintop neighborhood, not secluded (if that’s what you’re looking for). Furnishings were simple and modern, and could accommodate a group easily. One thing missing was privacy blinds/curtains for the main living area, which has a sliding glass door right onto the road. It feels a little exposed at night without a way to close the curtains.”

“Just an overnight stay. On our way back home from northern New York. The place was nice. It is peaceful sitting on the deck. The check in process was a little tedious with various emails and downloads required. The Backstep is a little sketchy. Be careful walking in. Overall the place was nice”

“We loved staying here. The hot tub was super clean, the property was quiet & lovely. The yard for the dog or fire pit was large & totally fenced in. You can tell the owner is very diligent keeping the fencing intact. The house is clean. There is an igloo which is really cool if the weather is bad & you want to be outside. I was concerned about spiders etc because it really is in the woods, but it was not a problem, in fact all I saw was 1 fly & he probably came with us from GA! You will not be……

“We had a wonderful time at this cute and cozy mountain home. We came up to West Virginia to visit family that lives in the area. It was such a nice respite to come back to every evening and relax. The decor is lovely and so much attention to detail. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked. We had everything we needed and will come back again. The hosts were clear in communication and gave us many wonderful ideas for places to eat and things to do.”
