“The log cabin is beautiful, beds were all comfortable and linens were very nice. Kitchen was well stocked. All of the windows were very dirty which was disappointing as the views were poor from the windows. And a few cobwebs in several corners. ”

“This is a cozy, cute A-frame with everything you need for a perfect get-away. Alison communicated all the details and had nice welcome treats for us. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed for meal prep and the location is quiet and conveniently located to reach Shenandoah NP and some local wineries.”

“My girlfriends and I went up for a bit of a retreat, and our trip could not have been more wonderful! Before we even got there, the host reached out and communicated with me to make sure I had all the information I needed to ensure a smooth check in. He even went out of his way to get me the info because my email wasn't working. When we got there, everything was clean, neat, and tidy. The cabin had most of what we needed, including kitchen items, which was a big plus, and the beds were pretty……

“This was THE perfect spot for one last hurrah/downtime before the school year and sports pick back up. It was remote and quiet with cover water access and kayaks. Everything in the kitchen works beautifully and their is plenty of beds and space to spread out. We really enjoyed our stay”

“The house was actually very clean but the front porch and the porch furniture were dirty and covered in cobwebs. Chairs and tables would need to be cleaned before anyone could sit there, which is too bad because it's an ideal spot for porch-sitting. Same is true of the gazebo which was unusable because of its condition.”

“The cabin was just what we needed; clean, cozy, private space, great amenities and great location. My children enjoyed playing bumper pool, fooseball, and all of the space to run around! We all enjoyed the short walk to the lake public access. Our host was absolutely wonderful and so accommodating! Highly recommend and we will most certainly be back!”

“The property is located in a very beautiful and secluded part of Virginia. All cabins are nestled within the trees and our unit had a lovely tree shaded deck. We were able to eat breakfast and dinner outside in complete comfort thanks to the trees (this also made it very private). The cabin was nicely designed and the kitchen was clean and very functional. This is a wonderful place for a getaway. The pools were very clean and well maintained. Check in was fast and easy. The concierge……

“We came to this property after a week in DC and a few days on the Eastern Shore. Place was amazing and restful. We picked this place since it was close to President Monroe’s house; MountPelier (sp) - Dolley and James Madison’s plantation. We wander the countryside so beautiful.
