“We travelled from Alaska to Federal Way for a surgery. While this condo is not new or fancy, it fulfilled our needs perfectly. Very close to Virginia Mason facilities, shady and cool even in a heat wave. Excellent shady 1/4 mile driveway loop for initial rehabilitation walks, and many wonderful trails/bike paths nearby. Grocery stores and restaurants in walking distance (1-2 miles) Everyone in the neighborhood was friendly and kind. Responses from the host to our questions were almost……

“My husband and I live locally and wanted a weekend getaway to sit back and relax. This property definitely delivered. Although there was a neighboring home and second apartment above ours, our space felt very private and secluded. The apartment overlooks the river and train trestle. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the train come through every 6-8hrs and listening to the river rapids. The apartment had all the kitchen basics we needed (can opener, plates, glasses, pots, pans, etc), and was clean……

“Decent location to what we needed. But honestly I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s a 4 plex that someone redid in IKEA from top to bottom. It’s an older building with thin walls..so I’ll leave the rest to your imagination. First thing we noted was countertops and table were dirty from previous tenants. There were ants in every room with ant traps set up in the corners. Kitchen sink didn’t have cold water. We ran out of toilet paper after the first day. No washcloths. No kitchen towels. No dish……
