“We travelled from Alaska to Federal Way for a surgery. While this condo is not new or fancy, it fulfilled our needs perfectly. Very close to Virginia Mason facilities, shady and cool even in a heat wave. Excellent shady 1/4 mile driveway loop for initial rehabilitation walks, and many wonderful trails/bike paths nearby. Grocery stores and restaurants in walking distance (1-2 miles) Everyone in the neighborhood was friendly and kind. Responses from the host to our questions were almost……

“The property was very well taken care of and nicely decorated. The kitchen and bathroom was clean and well stocked. The main issue we had was checking in- the code we had wasn’t working and couldn’t get a hold of the owner. (This was around 10:15pm) She did respond after about ten minutes and was able to let us in and the stay was flawless after that! ”

Although there was a neighboring home and second apartment above ours, our space felt very private and secluded. The apartment overlooks the river and train trestle. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the train come through every 6-8hrs and listening to the river rapids. The apartment had all the kitchen basics we needed (can opener, plates, glasses, pots, pans, etc), and was clean……

“The stay was good, the neighbors were friendly except for upstairs.”

“Just as advertised. The only thing that we had an issue with was the AC unit or situation. It would be better for the host to connect the units before the guest arrives. Not everyone is familiar with plugging in air conditioner units. And as a side note, gps will always have you turning to the wrong side of the road to the place. That was an inconvenience. Otherwise the condo is lovely!”
