“We had a wonderful stay! The house was well appointed, clean, and had everything we needed. The views were absolutely stunning and made for a relaxing, scenic getaway. “My best friend and I wanted to get out of the city with our pups for a long weekend, and this was absolutely the perfect place to do that! Robert was accommodating, kind, and quick to respond. And the neighborhood/community is adorable, friendly, and low key. Being literally steps from the beach was beyond amazing, and being able to sit on the front patio and get the breeze/view was unmatched! Can’t wait to come back again! ”

“We saw a bevy of wikdlife. Toads, chipmunks and babies, a wild turkey, woodchuck or beaver, and deer. The views were great and the kitchen was actually quite accommodating. Book it today!”

It was no frills - there are two bedrooms with large beds and TVs, a bathroom, and kitchenette with a pod coffeemaker. We didn't spend a lot of time there, which worked for us. “Took this time with my husband and baby to relax for a few days before the end of my maternity leave. The cabin was even more beautiful in person with the large windows overlooking the lake and trees. Everything was clean and comfortable. The communication with the host was perfect whenever we had a question. One thing I didnt realize was the stove and fridge are very small so i needed to improvise some thing i had brought with me to cook. Also, the oven temp runs very hot. Was trying to slow……

"As an experienced traveler, I have to rate this La Quinta a ONE out of Five. The facility is too old to use. To open the door, you need to insert the card key dozens of times. The hall way is not flat, slightly uphill or downhill. The drain of the tub is only half-working. When you take shower your feet are in the water. Basin is cracked and glued. AC sound wakes you up every time when it starts. Breakfast is ok, but lack of food after 8:50, it says that the time of breakfast is 6:30 to 9:30. Parking is free and safe, which is only thing make my thumb up. Overall, with $140 per night price, I must say, I was very disappointed by this hotel!!! By the way, the other La Quinta hotels I have lived in are very good."
