“We had a fantastic week at the lake house. We love visiting the area and this home is the perfect location. We always enjoy fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding on the lake. Can’t wait to return. ”

“This cottage was perfect for me and my two friends, though it seems like it'd be ideal for families too with the three decent sized bedrooms, full kitchen and large living area. I was a little skeptical of the small-seeming stove at first, but it got the whole place nice and toasty in no time! I really enjoyed the private location... something I didn't see in this area for a similar price range. The winter nights were peaceful, quiet, and cozy, and combined with the warmth of the stove lent to a……

“We stayed at the”Blackhaus” January 19-23. The house was perfect for our 3 teenage boys and my wife and I. It is a bit off the road which offers serenity and peace. The house is well appointed and met all of our needs. It is located just about 8 minutes from whiteface ski resort and about 22 minutes to lake placid. I Will definitely stay here again. ”

“I booked this location for a Father & Son fishing trip. It was perfect! Over the week we caught over 20 fish a day in the pond. Between the boat and the kayaks we explored the entirety of Fern Lake. We also had an opportunity to fly fish one of the best rivers only 20 minutes away. The Camp was in excellent shape. Perfect for our trip or an entire family!!!”
