“We booked this property for the 2 king bedrooms and the convenient location in Wilmington. Highlights include short walk to a great fishing spot, hot tub evenings with mountain breezes, washing machine and kind host proximity to Whitefacs Mtn/Memorial Hwy, Flume Falls, High Falls Gorge, Hungry Trout and Lake Placid. Some things to note for summer travelers - the AC is a small unit in kitchen that does not reach the bedrooms so you will need to rely on opening windows and running fans to cool……

“This isn't a luxury room in the sense of being new/updated with a lot of space. The main area is dated, but it has everything you need and an updated bath area and it's a great location if you are in Wilmington for something. We were there for the Whiteface uphill bike race. Meg seemed available to help although we didn't need anything.”

“My husband and a guys from work stayed there while working up there they said the place was great and clean they wer there for 11 days and had no complaints”

“This was the perfect cozy cabin for our winter vacation. It is perfect if you love a private peaceful scene in the woods. About 30 minutes from towns. Very comfortable, and the Mary is incredibly responsive and helpful. We went to towns, ice fishing on the private lake, had ourselves a day catching so many perch, and relaxed by the fire inside. Highly recommend if you like the quietness of the woods and being outdoors as lots of trails and hikes to do as well!”

“Two suites that are perfect for two families staying together. The kitchen was nicely furnished. Had a beautiful view and a short walk to a Dam. The place is attached to a restaurant, but wasn't noticeable during our stay. The suites were very clean. The Host was also very understanding and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our stay. ”

“Great place to stay! Quick drive to Lake Placid and Whiteface and all activities. Beautiful covered bridge nearby. Really nicely appointed house. Had absolutely everything we needed kitchen bathroom wise etc and was in great condition. ”

“This cabin was so much more than we expected! It's spacious, with a full kitchen, two bedrooms and two full baths. The property has multiple cozy seating areas including a large front porch, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The location is secluded enough to get away from it all, while still being conveniently close to anything you need.The hosts were extremely kind and helpful and took great care with all the details that make a trip memorable. We loved our stay!”

“It was always nice and quiet, and had a nice vibe to it. The natural setting of it was great, I love being in the woods and hearing the birds and such. Neighbors were not right on top of each other, so it felt like it was your own space to enjoy. Definitely a good place to disconnect and relax! I had too many other things going on and wasn't there near enough time to enjoy it more, as it deserves. Maybe I'll come back another time.”
