Tapada do Poço das Canas - A refuge in the Alentejo

Tapada do Poço das Canas is an exclusive country house renovated and reopened in July 2021.
This property has capacity for 8 adults, making it ideal for 2 families or groups of friends.
It has 1 suite, 1 double bedroom and 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each, a total of 3 bathrooms, a cozy living room with fireplace and snooker, lounge/games room and fully equipped kitchen in open space with a dinning room.

All spaces are decorated in an elegant rural style typical of this area of ​​Alentejo and have WiFi access.
The property is completely fenced and has private parking, 2 pleasant porches, one at the front of the house and the other at the side equipped with a table football table.
At the back there is a terrace ideal for outdoor dining and views and access to the pool and garden. It also has a barbecue area.

The large pool area is an ideal place to enjoy a summer lunch, an after-dinner drink or why not a yoga session on the lawn next to the pool to the sound of water and nature.

For convenient day trips, the Tapada do Poço das Canas is located 10 min. from Reguengos de Monsaraz, 15 minutes from Redondo and the Serra d'Ossa Walkways, and about 30 minutes from Monsaraz and several of the most renowned wine estates and the river beaches of Alqueva.

But to start tasting the secrets of the Alentejo, you won't even need to use the car. Tapada do Poço das Canas is located in Aldeias de Montoito where you can find an excellent bakery making traditional Alentejo bread and a cheese factory producing artisanal cheeses.

Très belle maison
La maison est agréable et bien équipée. La piscine est grande, magnifique et permet même de nager. La maison est spacieuse, les lits confortables. Il manque juste un lave linge pour que le lieu soit parfait ! Merci à notre hôte Bernardo pour son accueil !

Excelente para descobrir o Alqueva
Tudo exatamente como anunciado. A casa é perfeita para 8 pessoas (2 casais), grande área (excelente os 3 WC para banhos). Piscina e área circundante bem tratadas. Check in e check out acompanhados pela Tatiana com uma disponibilidade perfeita. A localização permite, em 30min de carro, conhecer a região do Alqueva e as suas principais praias fluviais. A melhorar apenas a quantidade de loiça disponível.

Wonderful retreat away from the crowds
We had an incredible stay in this lovely quiet village well away from the crowds of tourists. This gorgeous, large, cool, beautifully laid out house provided plenty of space for 8 people - 4 adults and 4 kids. The huge pool and garden area were fabulous and inside the big cool, airy, rooms equipped with a pool table, games room and a large comfy sitting room and spacious bedrooms meant everyone could spread out and properly relax. The kitchen is really well equipped and lovely to cook in, and the shaded outside eating space was just perfect. The surrounding area is really interesting - beautiful hill top towns, a massive lake and a great observatory meant there was lots to see but without competing with too many other tourists. We had some great meals out, recommended by the host. This was a truly perfect holiday! Thank you so much for having us.

Excelente casa e espaço envolvente
Casa bonita, limpa, espaçosa e muito bem equipada. Recebeu-nos a Tatiana, muito simpática e eficiente. O único senão é o espaço mesmo à volta da Tapada: para andar a pé não é assim muito agradável. De carro, em poucos minutos há tudo o que é necessário!

Excelente propriedade no Alentejo rural
A propriedade está localizada nas aldeias de Montoito, com acesso fácil. Está a cerca de 12km de Reguengos de Monsaraz onde se podem encontrar supermercados, restaurantes e outros serviços. Gostámos muito da estadia, a casa é muito confortável e espaçosa, destacando o excelente alpendre, que proporciona jantares fantásticos à luz das velas, observando-se facilmente o céu estrelado da região Dark Sky. A piscina e espaço anexo são excelentes. Como nota negativa apenas o check-in tardio (17:30h) e o check-out muito cedo (10h) que nos fez perder quase um dia de usufruto da propriedade. Apesar de esta condicionante ter a ver com a necessidade de limpeza em tempo de COVID-19 acho que não deve ser suportada pelo hóspede. Recomendamos vivamente esta propriedade para quem procura descanso e isolamento.
