“We love the location of this house! Only a couple blocks to the beach and to restaurants at the harbor. A great beach house! The only problem was that the back bedroom got very cold at night and we could not find any heat source in there. We would still return to this place though, the location is worth it!”

“Cute cottage, well appointed, nice location. The deck overlooking the ocean is huge. It would be nice if there was some sort of an outdoor sectional with a gas fire pit to sit by when it's cold outside. But there is an indoor fireplace which was really nice! ”

“We loved our stay. The cottage was literally steps to W. Cliff Drive with its trail along the ocean cliffs on the Westside of Santa Cruz. It was easy to see why the owner had won awards for restoration of the Carriage House. It was both beautiful and so thoughtfully done. Every day we noticed new details that were thematic, considerate or just pretty. Those little "surprises" were themselves a pleasure. Everything from the "horse" theme to the detail of the hardware chosen to the beach glass……

The back garden is adorable and the front porch lets you drink in the beauty and peace of the gorgeous redwoods. It is tucked away yet so close to all the conveniences you'll need. Lynn is a wonderful host, very responsive and has really thought about everything you need.”
