“Finding lodging outside of the parks is very difficult. This isolated cabin was a good choice for us. It had all of the equipment and supplies we needed. It is an older home and a little on the worn side. The manager is very personable and accommodating. Bring your own food. There are no stores close by and the only restaurant is unreliable. Half of the items on the menu were not available.”

“This property was incredible for relaxation! The view is beautiful, the area is quiet, the location is very near the national park. We loved our time here. We'll be back!”

“The cozy cottage was the perfect place to stay while visiting Yosemite and surrounding areas! It was clean and well equipped. John and Traci were super great. They provided a relaxing space, laughs and options for food purchases after a long day in the parks. Then a delicious delivered breakfast in the morning, a great way to start the day! We had an awesome stay! ”

“Great little place that is stocked with essentials, and more. The road up to the place is pretty squiggly, so keep that in mind if you get car sick! I had to be the driver in the area to avoid it. Because of the roads, it took a little longer for us to go to dinner on our first night and to get to the parks, so keep that in mind.We brought a lot of our own breakfast food, but did notice there is some easy food stuff like pancake mix in the cabinets, possibly from past guests, which is nice. “Jayson couldn’t have been friendlier, meeting us at the gate to the property and showing us all the tips and tricks for our RV stay. The property feels very safe, with a locked gate to the lane and second locked gate to the property. The fresh eggs were delicious. A fun alternative to a hotel for the kids, without sacrificing comfort and amenities. ”

“Excellent location for visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP. The host was attentive, the room was perfect with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and place settings for 2. I just hope the toilet paper was chosen for the septic system and not because they wanted that brand. I am glad I arrived in the daylight, the short dirt road in would be tricky in the dark the first time. Dining recommendations were spot on - good food, very friendly service, and close by. I wouldn't hesitate to book here……

“We came in late and it was easy to find and get into. Our first views were of sunset over the olive orchards and the starlit sky. We ran into the owners the next morning and they let my girls pet their horses (supervised of course) and feed them some apples! ”

“The building is over 100 years old, so sloping floors are expected! That’s part of the charm! Peter has updated the house, so it’s functional and really comfortable. We enjoyed the time in Tollhouse.”
