“We only spent one night and was able to enjoy the grants Grove of the Kings Canyon National park. Concerns that we had: 1. A Beautiful grill was provided, but The propane was empty. The closest propane is 25 miles away. 2. There are no smoke detectors in the unit. Due to the fact that there is an unvented gas heater as well as the water heater in side the cabin… Smoke detectors as well as a carbon monoxide detector should be, and pretty sure legally mandatory. This should be given immediate……

“Awesome location. In Kings Canyon NP right next to main visitor center. Perfect for couples or small group. Nice to have kitchen stocked and laundry and comfy beds. The parks were amazing and so worth it. Would choose again in a heartbeat. ”

“Finding lodging outside of the parks is very difficult. This isolated cabin was a good choice for us. It had all of the equipment and supplies we needed. It is an older home and a little on the worn side. The manager is very personable and accommodating. Bring your own food. There are no stores close by and the only restaurant is unreliable. Half of the items on the menu were not available.”

“Great little place that is stocked with essentials, and more. The road up to the place is pretty squiggly, so keep that in mind if you get car sick! I had to be the driver in the area to avoid it. Because of the roads, it took a little longer for us to go to dinner on our first night and to get to the parks, so keep that in mind.We brought a lot of our own breakfast food, but did notice there is some easy food stuff like pancake mix in the cabinets, possibly from past guests, which is nice. “A fantastic spot to book for a group trip - good for families with kids as well as friends that don't mind getting a little cozy with multiple beds in each room. It's only about a 5 minute drive away from Shaver Lake, and there plenty of amenities (ping pong table, board games, chairs to use for the lake, blankets/towels). Erich is super responsive if anything comes up. I think for the price point, it's very affordable for those looking for a short weekend getaway!”

“Jayson couldn’t have been friendlier, meeting us at the gate to the property and showing us all the tips and tricks for our RV stay. The property feels very safe, with a locked gate to the lane and second locked gate to the property. The fresh eggs were delicious. A fun alternative to a hotel for the kids, without sacrificing comfort and amenities. ”
