“Fabulous spot for a long weekend away from Auckland. The sea view from the main property is amazing, and the pool / games barn a great place for the kids to be entertained. The hosts are incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We stayed in the Kohinui (family) cottage - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen, and heat pumps/AC in every room. “For the price this place is basic. You are paying 5 star prices and getting 3 star standard. Basic. Lamps in bedroom didn’t work. It was just cheap, cold no view not comfortable in the apartment. I stay all over nz for work and I have never paid over $330 for a night in such a basic hotel. I’ll never stay here again ”
