“Fabulous spot for a long weekend away from Auckland. The sea view from the main property is amazing, and the pool / games barn a great place for the kids to be entertained. The hosts are incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We stayed in the Kohinui (family) cottage - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen, and heat pumps/AC in every room. “This was our first night's stay in NZ after the plane from Singapore. V friendly lady on reception who gave us some milk for tea. We were allocated room 6 which was spotlessly clean but needs, in my opinion, a new mattress. It is too soft. Kitchen is well stocked. ”

“We've stayed in plenty of motels, apartments and hotels in NZ this past month, most arentired or have seen better days. But this spot was clean, felt new and is easily one of our best stays. Thanks to all the team who help keep it nice and clean, you're doing an excellent job. Appreciated the airocn and Netflix too.”

“We only stayed one night at this property and arrived late however there was a member of staff waiting to greet us. The hotel was close to all facilities and within a few minutes drive of the the popular tourist spots. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would be happy to return again.”

“For the price this place is basic. You are paying 5 star prices and getting 3 star standard. Basic. Lamps in bedroom didn’t work. It was just cheap, cold no view not comfortable in the apartment. I stay all over nz for work and I have never paid over $330 for a night in such a basic hotel. I’ll never stay here again ”
