“Experiencia maravillosa, excelentisimo servicio, excelentes comidas y bebidas y muy buen precio para ser Costa Rica. Hermoso lugar, la playa maravillosa. Todo fabuloso, quizas el unico pero es que no tiene aire acondicionado y el ventilador de techo no es tan eficiente lo que hace que se tengan las ventanas abiertas y entran mosquitos. Fuera de eso SENSACIONAL, claro que volvería y lo recomendaría! Especialmente felicitacion a Angelo, Jessie, y Laurita que nos dieron un super servicio!!!!!”

“Der Aufenthalt in Playa Negra Guesthouse war sehr erholsam. Sobald man das Gelände betritt, ist man fasziniert von dem gepflegten Garten und der Vielfalt an Tieren. Wir hatten das Glück ca. 2 m von unserer Terrasse ein Faultier zu beobachten, wie es vom Baum herunterklettert. Beide Gastgeber waren herzlich und sorgten für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Der Strand Playa Negra liegt direkt gegenüber dem Grundstück. Pura vida.”

“Recepción por Alejandro, excepcional. Amable y servicial. La habitación en medio de la nada y con paredes de cedazo, es una lindisima experiencia! Casi como dormir debajo de un árbol No hay gallos pero hay congos.. Ronald del restaurante el mejor servicio! “When I say the owners of this establishment make you feel like your home it’s a MUST STAY I will definitely be back because it’s just that great. I wud say it’s a hidden gem of Costa Rica nestled not too far from everything but not too close either the morning coffee delivery and the breakfast each morning make this place even that much better I can’t say enough good things about The Promise 😉”

“An escape into the lush jungle with all the amenities of a four star hotel. We enjoyed a walk around the grounds after a fresh, homemade breakfast. A must stay if you have a car rental. ”
