“We had a wonderful time at Casa Luna House. The property is beautiful and well maintained. We loved the outdoor spaces and it worked out well for us to have the separate rooms downstairs, it gave my daughter and her partner privacy while I was upstairs with her teenagers. The only issue I had was that the coffee pot was unusable. The wet coffee grounds hadn't been removed from the previous guest and it was covered in mold. A through cleaning was needed. “The place is gorgeous and the owner and his in house staff were very very on point. They was one major factor that needs to be addressed. There is 67 stairs from the ground to the top floor where the top bedroom is. We had our mother who’s in her 80s. I’m in pretty good shape, but it was difficult. There’s two people that didn’t come. “This property is well worth a 10 rating. The setting is beautiful, situated in a lush tropical forest just footsteps from a very private beach. The house is spacious, comfortable and well-provisioned. We stayed for a week and especially enjoyed the open-air living space where we could relax surrounded by the sights, sounds and smells of nature - wildlife, surf, rain, etc. The host is very easy to reach and super accommodating. “What a lovely property to return to each day to relax, read, grab a bite, and sleep. The house is adorable and property is beautiful with the pond, flowering trees and bushes. We saw and heard so many birds just sitting on either porch. A community of howler monkeys stayed in a tree across the street several nights and were the perfect alarm clock for our early morning activities. Troy came to our aid whenever we needed something - immediately! He is a great host. ”

“I loved this place. We had a great stay. A few things to note: all rooms face the outside. Like a motel. Kitchens/living rooms are outside too. Mosquitos everywhere. To be expected but best to prepare ahead of time. Pool was nice to have. It was hard to keep steps clean because they were outside but they were very clean when we got there. Glad they had someone on sight to check us in because the original location sent wasn’t accurate and he was able to send me location in wayze, which worked……
