“We really enjoyed our stay at the Buddha house! It was beautiful, bright, clean and the back yard was huge and lush with greenery. The house was very well equipped, the bed was comfortable and the shower was great. (Tip: To get hot water in the kitchen, you have to run the bathroom sink at the same time, otherwise there is not enough pressure to get the hot water tank working.) It was a quiet location which was a nice change after having stayed in other towns where dogs were constantly barking……

“We had the most incredible stay at Casita Tucan. Starting with the check in process- so smooth and the hosts were extremely accommodating letting us leave our luggage in the main office before check in so we could go explore. Staying in this house is an experience unlike anywhere else. You are quite literally in the jungle. The house was surrounded by sloths (a mom and baby), tons of capuchin monkeys, and the best was being woken up by the howler monkeys at 5am. Puerto viejo is such a fun little……
