“We really enjoyed our stay at the Buddha house! It was beautiful, bright, clean and the back yard was huge and lush with greenery. The house was very well equipped, the bed was comfortable and the shower was great. (Tip: To get hot water in the kitchen, you have to run the bathroom sink at the same time, otherwise there is not enough pressure to get the hot water tank working.) It was a quiet location which was a nice change after having stayed in other towns where dogs were constantly barking……

“Ernesto and his wife tatiana were great to deal with, they communicated well, and he was here to greet us upon arrival. The total property Is so great, it’s like a small boutique hotel… There are three separate houses, with a communal area that has two swimming pools, an outdoor kitchen and multiple seating areas. We stayed in the two bedroom house, The showers are huge with lots of hot water, and the beds are so very comfortable ! Please note that it is over 2 miles outside of the little town,……

“The primary reason to stay in this casita is the location and the stunning views. The garden is beautiful with a path that opens to La Playa Negra. The beach is quiet and private and absolutely breathtaking. We were able to spot the sloth in the garden on a few occasions and had an up close view of him moving once which was very special. As previously mentioned in reviews, there was a bottle of wine and chocolate waiting for us. We were met to check in and get acclimated to the environment.……
