“My son and I booked a two nights stay, as we were walking around snowdonia. Claire was a lovely host and very helpful. The room was good and we had our own bathroom and toilet. The breakfast was incredible both mornings too! We will be going back.”

“Excellent greeting upon arrival. A lovely welcome and our room was lovely. A large room with excellent bathroom and a nice view This is a beautiful hotel. The food was excellent, great service at the bar too. In the lounge var area, ample cosy seating, beautiful views all around the hotel grounds. Nice music in the back ground. “Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. “Tidy hotel the other side of Llangollen which resulted in a hairaising approach in our low slung car along very wiggly roads (we found an easier B road via Chirk later! ) This hotel is situated in a quiet village and we slept well both nights. Our room was huge, clean, well decorated with lovely fixtures and fittings offering plenty of storage.
