“Quiet, comfortable and clean. Dining available for lunch and dinner. Full menu breakfast included with overnight stay. Staff were very friendly. A big shout out to Georgina, Lilly, Sophia and a beautiful red headed gal who lugged my heavy bag to our room. They went out of their way to make our first stay in their charming town memorable. ”

“Very hospitable. Room was basic but very comfortable. The shower was very small and me being not small I couldn’t use it. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely use again. But might request a room with larger shower if available. ”

“We had a lovely warm welcome, the red lion was very clean lots of beers & lager's to chose from.. The room was very clean, everything you needed was there plenty of tea and coffee on the plus side there was a mini fridge, king size bed all the toiletry you need.. the shower was a good size big shower head, made a real change not to have white towels we had a light grey made a huge difference.. “Staff Willow, Betsy & Kate, are brilliant and made our stay amazing! Willow even brought in an iron in from her home, as the iron at the Ship had gone missing. We’ve already booked to return later in the year. Highly recommended, other ship is in a great location, with a view that is priceless. ”
