“Just a 20 minute drive on a main road to campus. Clean and set up nicely for our short stay with three adults and pup. The accommodations were just right for us and host’s attention to little touches like snacks upon arrival were a very nice surprise. Host was very attentive before and during our stay and I’d recommend you give the “Pit Stop” a look for your visit to the Blacksburg area.”

“Great location perfect for what I was needing. Went to spend time with my daughter who attends Concord university. Walking distance to the college and dorms. House has everything you needed to make a nice meal, beds were very comfortable, ample parking Only thing I would add to make it better would be basic cable. “We had to move two Hokies, one out and one in to a BB townhouse. Having stayed at the Little Blue Cottage in the winter 2021 to take our Hokie skiing at Winterplace, we knew this house would be ideal for a multi day stay and a place to park our trailer and once done moving, tube the New River at the New River Junction campground next store. We had so much fun and the cottage is ideal. Comfortable beds and plenty of space. The scenery is lovely and we enjoyed watching the egrets over morning……

“This was a lovely woodland location. And so quiet. We had a wonderful time cooking, talking and going for walks. Blissfully away from computers and TV. (They were available, though the internet was out.) The little house was stocked with everything you could possibly need and the furniture was really comfy. “We arrived late at night in the rain, and although the directions had told me there was a keyless entry, the key box by the front door threw me off, and we struggled with that for a minute before I remembered the email. lol Removing that might be a good idea. The cabin was clean, but we did have to contact the owner for more towels, because there were only 2 for 3 adults, and there were only sheets for the pullout couch/bed, no blanket.
