The description is very accurate.Beds were super comfortable. We all had plenty of space and yes, as noted, it is by the main Hwy (460) so if you are a very light sleeper you may hear large trucks during the night. “Beautiful, well-appointed new construction close enough to VT campus for events and visiting students, but just far enough away for views and privacy. Great outdoor spaces on front and back porches, complete with a grill. Thoughtful touches everywhere from snacks and coffee to extra blankets and plush towels to razors and toothpaste, in case you forgot. And fascinating site history too. Would definitely stay again! Close to Rising Silo Brewery, Heritage Park and Gateway Trails.”

Comfortable for everyone, great amenities for in house cooking, and to our surprise river tubing on site!!! “This was our first VT Family Weekend visiting our freshman Hokie. We traveled with two of our kids and had another flying in from college in Boston. This house was just as described - it was spacious for all of us, clean and well equipped. The ride to/from Blacksburg was no more than 30-40 min and gave us refuge after a long day of tailgating, football game and campus activities. “This was a fantastic stay! The hosts were always responsive and check-in was easy. We stayed for an extended time due to our home needing repairs. The hosts worked with us to fill this long term request and were super accommodating! This place would be great for a bigger group too, with lots of space inside and out.
